Flute and recorder masterclass (Handel sonatas) with Lisete da Silva Bull
Handel Sonatas Masterclass with Lisete da Silva Bull

Thanks to funding from The Arts Council of England, The Brook Street Band is delighted to offer online masterclasses for recorder, and baroque and modern flute players.

3 participants (approximate minimum standard Grade 7+) will work with Lisete on one of Handel's fabulous flute sonatas, or one of his wonderful recorder sonatas, plus we have room for up to 100 observers. The masterclass ends with a live Q&A session, where anyone can ask Lisete specific questions about repertoire or technical issues. We ask that students under the age of 11 are accompanied online by a parent or guardian.

Portuguese-born Lisete studied recorders and historical flute at the Royal Academy of Music, and has been a highly-valued member of the UK music profession for over 25 years now, performing and recording worldwide. Lisete is passionate about teaching, and has taught Baroque flute and recorder for almost 30 years to all levels and ages around the world. Lisete writes “Music education has always meant a huge amount to me. I know how much it helps make the world a better place.”
