Since 2014, VMware has been working with Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to transform their network infrastructures by adopting what later became defined within ESI as the Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV) framework. Experience gained through deployments with approximately 100 CSP customers has led to the development of VMware’s Telco Cloud architecture for network transformation; from physical, to virtual and towards container-based services.
This online session will provide an introduction to the VMware Telco Cloud architecture and some of the key solutions within it. You will learn how to differentiate between the functions of the separate layers of the Telco Cloud and how they relate to the challenges and opportunities you may be encountering. The session will aid further, deeper, discussions on network transformation.
