Advocating for Marginalized Gifted Students of Color: An Evening with Dr. Kristina Henry Collins
Please join us for an evening with Dr. Kristina Henry Collins focused on advocating for marginalized gifted students of color to make sure they are receiving the challenge and support they need. The goal of this event is to provide information that will help parents, guardians, and teachers advocate for unidentified, misidentified, and underserved gifted students of color and connect them with the resources they need to thrive.

Dr. Collins currently serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Gifted Children and is the president of SENG (Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted). As a professor at Texas State University, her research focuses on the social, emotional, and cultural contexts of gifted and talent development.
