Webinar: Understanding groundwater quality through numerical modelling
Groundwater is increasingly important for meeting water demand around the globe. The quality of groundwater in aquifers has deteriorated significantly over the last few decades. In many cases, groundwater sources have become polluted to the point where they are uneconomic to treat and have had to be abandoned.

FEFLOW, the industry standard tool for groundwater modelling, offers a great potential to understand all such as problems associated to water quality. With the help of numerical simulations, a detailed risk analysis and therefore reliable measures can be planned.

During this 45 minutes' free webinar (including a "Question-Answer" session), you will receive:

An overview of different modelling approaches for groundwater quality. With practical examples we will demonstrate modelling of contaminants from conservative transport, kinetic reactions up to complex geochemical cases.

In summary, webinar will be focused on:
• Understanding what modelling approaches can be taken to specific water quality problems.
• Overview of DHI’s cutting-edge technology to simulate groundwater quality.
• Live demonstration
• “Questions and Answers” to the expert.
