To Our Audience & their parents/guardians:
This week's Really Awesome Improv Show will not be performed and we will be back on Thursday, June 11th. While we’re always proponents of the adage “the show must go on,” this week, we feel it’s most important that we pause our show programming to listen. While we are aware that many of our young viewers rely on The Second City as a much-needed release and opportunity for engagement, we wanted to take a moment and allow everyone to experience their feelings and have important conversations. We share the same gut-wrenching feelings of heartbreak and outrage that you are feeling right now, too.
We will be back next week to bring the laughter we know so many kids need and deserve now.
Until then, consider watching The 60-minute special "Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism. A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Families" will air on Saturday, June 6, at 10 a.m. ET. Be safe. Be kind. Be part of the change.
