Innovation in Healthy Aging & Fall Prevention
This presentation will discuss recent innovations in healthy aging technologies and neurophysiological testing with two international speakers that actively practice evidence-based decision making for healthy senior aging and fall prevention and apply current research to their protocols.

Mike Voight, Director of Physical Therapy at The Thomas Byrd Hip Clinic at Nashville Sports Medicine

Dr. Michael Voight, DHSc, PT, OCS, SCS, ATC, and Professor at Belmont and Vanderbilt Universities, has had a distinguished career as both an educator and clinical PT for over 25 years. Throughout his career, he has not only become one of the leading authorities in the rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports injuries, he has worked tirelessly, as both clinician and educator, to advance the knowledge of others through significant contributions to the literature. His research over the next year will include rehabilitation post hip replacement, and healthy return-to-life staging to minimize re-injury.

Eric DeYoung National Director at Motion PT

Dr. Eric DeYoung has been an Occupational Therapist and Traditional Naturopath for over 20 years. He is the National Director of the Senior Care Division for MOTION PT Group, charged with developing outpatient rehabilitation centers within Senior living communities across the country. MOTION's Senior Care Division is the first and only rehabilitation company to integrate TRAZER technology into every Senior care center to improve balance, eliminate falls, increase mobility and facilitate active functional living for Seniors. Dr. DeYoung lives in Louisville, KY where he and has owned his own a private practice; he has and served on the Board for the Kentucky Occupational Therapy Association in several positions including being the that of President. Dr. DeYoung has lectured across the country on various nationally on a broad range of topics to clinicians, healthcare executives and Fortune 500 companies.
