Cross-Cultural Collaborations: Embracing Authenticity, Humility, and Vulnerability to Strengthen Positive Social Change
Building on Walden University’s strong mission toward advancing positive social change, we are pleased to announce the 2nd virtual event in the Real World Solutions for Real World Problems learning series. Attendees will build self-awareness to promote competency and walk away with new methods; tools; best practices, models for discussions, and insights about collaborating with people across cultures to infuse a more inclusive approach in their work to foster social change.

The workshop will begin with an expert panel moderated by Dr. Denise Boston, Walden University’s Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and then we will break into groups to focus on one or more themes related to authenticity, cultural humility, and/or vulnerability. We will then have two rounds of 1-hour breakout sessions, with a 30-minute break for lunch in between, and bringing everyone together for an inspirational final closing session. (Moderated by Ashley Burton and Lyda Downs)

Mar 26, 2020 10:00 AM in Central Time (US and Canada)
