As a licensed Mechanical and Fire Protection Engineer, he designs HVAC and smoke management systems and performs energy audits for new and existing facilities. He is intimately involved in all aspects of healthcare design and, most recently, with hospitals dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Recent healthcare work Sam Claxton has led includes a $250M renovation and renovation for Baptist Health Lexington, a new campus for Baptist in Lexington's Hamburg area, along with numerous projects for Mercy Health, St. Elizabeth, UK, St. Joseph Hospitals, and Good Samaritan Hospital. Christopher Buford (Facilities Management Medical Center Supervisor / Chairman @Franklin Investment Group Inc) Experienced Technical Supervisor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Strong information technology professional with a Healthcare Facility Leadership focused in Healthcare Facility Leadership from Owensboro Community College. David Rousch (Business Development Manager for the Healthcare and Research Market @Phoenix Controls) David Rausch joined Phoenix Controls in 2006, and is currently the business development manager for the Healthcare and Research Markets. He has been involved in many aspects of product management, product design and project design of specialty mechanical devices and controls within the Healthcare and Research industry for over 20 years. As an active member and distinguished speaker of ASHRAE, he has held executive positions in TC 9.10 (Lab Systems) and was a past Chair for TC 2.2 (Plant and Animal). He now is an associate member of TC 9.6 (Healthcare) and TC 9.11 (Clean Rooms) and speaks at numerous critical environment conferences throughout the year. David is also an active member of NFPA – Building Fire Safety Systems section and is a voting member of NFPA 45 Technical committee – Laboratories Using Chemicals.
