ETH Zürich and EPFL launched the “Future Food Initiative” with Swiss food industry leaders Bühler, Givaudan and Nestlé. The research initiative aims at expanding research and education in the areas of food and nutrition sciences.
The fellowship programme within the initiative aims at bringing together competences from academic and industrial research in this field. The overarching goal is to develop solutions that address grand challenges, ranging from sustainable packaging (for example the elimination of plastics) to affordable nutrition (for example combatting deficiencies and starvation globally).
The fellowship offers the possibility to researchers from any country, holding a doctoral degree, to spend up to three years in Switzerland and develop their research project.
swissnex Brazil is inviting Braida Thom on the 4th of February to present the Future Food Initiative and its fellowship to researchers interested in applying for the position.
The event will be held in English, with a Q&A session.
