Part I: Getting To Work on Summer & Summer Planning Toolkit
Start the new year strong with the tools and best practices to power your planning and execution of high-quality summer programs in the coming season. Join us for Part I in a free, 3-part webinar series on February 27, 2019 at 1pm EST as we explore two exciting new resources to jumpstart your summer planning.

Getting to Work on Summer Learning, Second Edition by the Rand Corporation explains the elements of successful programs and offers school districts and community providers planning advice on staffing, student recruitment, creating a positive climate and so much more.

We’ll also dive into the accompanying online Summer Learning Toolkit, mapped to RAND's findings, which features more than 50 practical tools and planning resources to help school districts and their partners design and deliver high-quality summer programs. The report and toolkit draw on lessons from the National Summer Learning Project, launched in 2011 by The Wallace Foundation.

Featured guests:
• Jennifer Sloan McCombs, Director of the Behavioral and Policy Sciences Department, RAND Corporation
• Hillary Oravec, Managing Partner, The Learning Agenda
• Katie Willse, Senior Consultant, The Learning Agenda

This 3-part webinar series is proudly co-sponsored by the Afterschool Alliance, the National AfterSchool Association, and the National Summer Learning Association.
