CFD modeling, FLOW-3D and water infrastructure
Curious about CFD, and how state-of-the-art free surface modeling tools like FLOW-3D are used in water infrastructure engineering?
Join us for a live presentation followed by an open Q&A session to learn how FLOW-3D is currently used in water civil infrastructure. We will explain how we model complex free surface problems, with examples from across the industry, and will walk you through how to create models using the FLOW-3D interface. Finally, we will open the floor for any questions and respond right there and then! Topics covered will include stormwater collection and conveyance, wastewater treatment, river and environmental hydraulics, bridge scour, dams, spillways, and fishways.
Students and professionals, experienced and novice CFD users, anyone interested in water infrastructure are encouraged to register!
