The Embassy of France, the French Institute of Israel and their partners are pleased to offer a series of online lectures and panel discussions that will explore the current issues and challenges raised by the development of artificial intelligence and its diffusion in our societies.
In March 2018, France unveiled its strategy dedicated to artificial intelligence, named "AI for Humanity". In Israel, considering the success of the cybersecurity plan, the government has also decided to adopt an artificial intelligence strategy, which should be released soon. What are the priorities defined by these strategies? How are they applied in practice? Are there any similarities between French and Israeli strategies?
Isaac Ben Israel and Cedric Villani will introduce and discuss French and Israeli strategies on artificial intelligence.
Prof. Cédric Villani, Mathematician, Fields medal laureate in 2010, Doob Prize laureate in 2014, member of the French Parliament, Author of France’s artificial intelligence strategy
Prof. Maj. Gen. (ret.) Isaac Ben-Israel, Head of the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Studies Centre, Tel Aviv University, Chairman of Israel space agency and Israel national council for R&D, Author of Israel's artificial intelligence strategy
