LGBTQQI2-S PEOPLE OF COLOR - HEALTH AND WELLNESS

This webinar will explore the challenges and differences within the LGBTQQI2-S community, as it relates to the intersectionality of race, class, and gender identity. Presenters will discuss historical and structural barriers and the negative affects they have on people of color in this community. Presentations will address health; mental wellness; income; housing, and safety in LGBTQQI2-S communities of color. Resources and tools will be provided to attendees.
OBJECTIVES - Participants will be able to:
1. Identify tools needed to appropriately respond to LGBTQQI2-S communities of color in a culturally responsive manner.
2. Describe historical and structural barriers that has resulted negative consequences to people of color in the LGBTQQI2-S community.
3. Identify best practices to reduce risk factors associated with negative health and mental health outcomes, including the
