She is always looking for the next suitable opportunity to volunteer and support younger people interested in STEM. She is not afraid to create those opportunities herself if there is nowhere to volunteer.

Emily has been with Arup for 2 years as a civil engineering apprentice in infrastructure. She is approachable, friendly and works well as part of a team. David Purdue
Host
David initially trained in musical theatre and dance at Performers College, spending a decade in shows, videos and touring. Highlights included Disney's 'High School Musical' on stage, fronting a video for UK band Razorlight and 18 months in a boy band touring across Europe. Since 'retiring' from performing aged thirty David has work as an events manager, firstly at the House of Commons and more recently for the Royal Horticultural Society. In his spare time David is currently a soloist with the London Gay Men's Chorus and co-created the 'Hobbies for Health' blog, as well as being a keen gardener.
