Aaron is the CEO of the Africa Minigrid Developers Association (AMDA), representing the decentralized utility sector serving rural and remote populations in Africa. Aaron also serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), a global industry association representing the entire rural energy value chain. He previously was a member of the Private Sector Advisory Group of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), and for five years was Practical Action’s Global Energy Representative, where he acted as thought leader on energy access, and co-authored their flagship Poor People’s Energy Outlook report.
Laura Lahti

Laura has over 10 years’ experience working with climate change mitigation projects and related capacity building initiatives in African countries. She is responsible for managing REPP projects’ environmental and social impacts, as well as monitoring and evaluating climate and sustainable development effects of the projects. Laura has extensive experience in the European Commission’s capacity building initiative on climate measurement, reporting and verification.

Moses Owuor has been involved in the renewable energy space since 2013. He has worked with Africa Green Energy, a company dealing in biomass thermal systems (such as boilers, gasifiers, convectional dryers, heat exchangers, etc.) as a product development manager for 4 years. Thereafter joined Mobisol Kenya Ltd, a solar home systems organization as the service network head for 2 years. Currently the Operations Manager of Powerhive East Africa Ltd running 16 micro-grids serving more than 2800 households.
