Reimagine Together: Growing with the Mission
Throughout 2021, Virginia Community Capital has shared stories of mission-driven projects and partnerships from throughout our 15-year history. The Reimagine Together series covered the community impact we've supported alongside likeminded partners in various areas, including affordable housing, job creation and entrepreneurship, healthy food access, impact investing, and more. Our goal was to reflect on the past and consider lessons learned as we look to the future.

Now, we invite you to join our capstone Reimagine Together event, where we'll discuss why reimagining community development is vital to advancing more equitable and inclusive economies. Our expert panelists will combine perspectives from economic development, affordable housing, philanthropy, and policy to dig up the roots of broken systems, define potential, and clear a path to action.

In addition, our new president and CEO, Amir Kirkwood, will explore the significant role played by community development financial institutions (CDFIs) like VCC. He'll discuss the power of partnership and innovation as community development stakeholders pursue our shared mission to create economies that work for all.

Our panelists are:
- Amy Chung, The California Endowment
- John Holdsclaw IV, National Cooperative Bank/CDFI Coalition
- Camille Busette, The Brookings Institution
- Jeff Mosley, Capital Impact Partners
