This session is also great for professionals who, having recently left the workforce, are in full caregiver mode but want to maintain their professional identity too.

Sheila Murphy
Founder/Partner @FlexProfessionals
Sheila oversees candidate recruiting and screening, support services for job seekers, as well as human resources for FlexProfessionals. She is a seasoned speaker, presenter and trainer on a variety of job search and career development topics. She routinely conducts workshops for the Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute (FSI) and International Monetary Fund Family Association (IMFFA) as well as for numerous parent organizations and career conferences. Prior to owning her own company, Sheila worked in project management and consulting roles for 15+ years at Quadel Consulting Corporation and Mendez England & Associates, both boutique consulting firms serving the federal government. She worked with numerous local, state, and federal government clients, including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). She has a BA in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Boston College.
Leanne Rodd
Director of Talent @FlexProfessionals
Leanne leads recruiting and programming in the Boston Metro area. She has more than twenty years’ experience in the staffing and publishing industries, specializing in training and development, client relationships, sales, and marketing. Leanne was Strategic Account Manager for the Maple-Vail Book Group where she managed corporate relationships in both domestic and UK markets and helped her clients achieve economies of scale while responding to market demands. Leanne also led training and development programs spanning technical and soft skills coaching. She began her career in the Marketing Group at Houghton Mifflin’s College Division (now Cengage Learning). Leanne is an active member of the local community where holds leadership and fundraising positions. She has an MS in Training & Development from Lesley University, a BA from the University of Vermont, and is a board-certified professional and career coach (BCC).
