This interactive workshop will highlight the significance of adequate case notes, a discussion of the SOAP (subjective, objective, assessment and plan) model for writing case management and clinical case notes and provide an opportunity for participants to write case notes in accordance with social work, counseling and mental health best practices

11:30am - 12:15pm: Distinctions Between Case Management and Clinical Case Notes
12:15pm - 1:15pm: SOAP Notes
1:15pm - 2:00pm: Legal Considerations
2:00pm - 3:00pm: Practical strategies for writing aappropriate, compliant notes
