Faith traditions have a long history of the reform of business vision and practice from the role of Franciscans in banking to the Quaker movement in England, and improving conditions of workers. Faiths also have a deep tradition of thinking about the purpose of wealth, money in relation to the greater good. In our current age, once again, faith groups are stepping up to address the urgent problems of environmental degradation.
This webinar will engage key thinkers and practitioners in the areas of faith and green business in a conversation on how different traditions can contribution to a re-think of business in light of the global climate and biodiversity crisis. This builds on the launch on the 2nd November of a brand new Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Green Entrepreneurship, which FaithInvest has helped developed the faith component of, with the UNDP Nature Based Solutions Programme (https://www.learningfornature.org/en/courses/green-entrepreneurship/).
