Integrated voice and psychological rehabilitation after total laryngectomy
Brief description: A total laryngectomy significantly impacts quality of life. Clinical evidence shows that an integrated rehabilitative approach offering psychological support in addition to speech therapy support improves emotional state and psychosocial aspects and promotes acceptance and use of the new voice and thus enabling recovery of a better quality of life. This webinar discusses the outcomes of the clinical research and describes the development and implementation of an integrated rehabilitation program in clinical practice.
