As the new President of the Coffee Association of Canada (CAC), he is committed to bringing tangible value to CAC Members and advancing the Association's Vision to contribute to the ethical and responsible growth of the Canadian coffee industry.
Vanessa Toperczer

Driven by intention and curiosity, Vanessa’s career to-date has provided her with a 360 view of the Marketing world - spanning Agency, Brand, Not-for-Profit and the Insights sides of the business. Her experience encompasses brand transformation and optimization; growth strategy development; communications strategy and articulation, partnership and sponsorship strategy, team leadership and empowerment, plus entrepreneurial business development and hustle. Vanessa is focused on leveraging insight to uncover strong and pragmatic direction for any business challenge.
Margot Swindall
Director of Business Development @Technomic
Margot Swindall aligns syndicated and custom research and consulting insights to support strategic business growth for North American clients. She draws upon over 30 years of Canadian and U.S. industry experience, working for a variety of foodservice CPG, operator and distribution organizations. Her tenure at these organizations spanned innovation, customer marketing, insights, and sales and marketing leadership roles focused on the away from home markets. Margot holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Guelph’s Hotel and Food Administration program, where she also taught marketing as a sessional instructor for three (3) terms. For over 55 years, Technomic has produced in depth research focused on the foodservice industry. Technomic provides insights into consumer, industry and menu trends in US, Canada and 23 countries around the world.
