A recent study from Dr. Jenny Radesky at the University of Michigan found that the most popular children's apps routinely target young kids with manipulative tactics to lure them into watching ads or making in-app purchases. When the study was published, CCFC led a coalition calling on the FTC to investigate these unfair practices. In this webinar, the team at Georgetown who drafted our FTC complaint will describe how the popular apps for preschoolers are rife with content that is inappropriate for, and unfair to, young children.
