Brynn Smith
@Pacific Lutheran University
Brynn serves as a Gateway Program Manager and Study Away Advisor for semester-long experiences at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. She enjoys working with students throughout the study away process, as well as supporting faculty in the design and implementation of PLU’s Gateway programs. By serving as the PLU liaison with Earth Deeds, a carbon on-setting organization, she has developed an interest in finding creative ways to embed sustainability practices into study away experiences.
Devin Foxall
@School for Field Studies
Devin Foxall serves as the Director of Institutional Relations for The School for Field Studies, a 40-year-old study abroad provider focused on environmental science and sustainability. Prior to SFS, Devin worked as a freelance reporter in countries such as Afghanistan, Bosnia, Iran, Laos, and Somalia. He also worked for Mercy Corps in West Africa developing strategies to target food insecurity. He has degrees from Dartmouth College and Johns Hopkins University.

Nico Evers facilitates global experiential learning for sustainable development as EARTH´s Professor of Global Internships and Director of International Academic Relations.. He is an elected member of the Council of Advisors of ISEP, and vice president and co-founder of globalEdu, the Costa Rican Universities Association for International Education. He is a PhD candidate at the Center for Internationalization of Education at the University of Groningen.
