Brian Behlendorf
General Manager for Blockchain, Healthcare and Identity @Linux Foundation
Brian Behlendorf is the General Manager for Blockchain, Healthcare and Identity at the Linux Foundation, and the Executive Director of Hyperledger. Behlendorf was a primary developer of the Apache Web server, the most popular web server software on the Internet, and a founding member of the Apache Software Foundation. He has also served on the board of the Mozilla Foundation since 2003 and the Electronic Frontier Foundation since 2013. He was the founding CTO of CollabNet and CTO of the World Economic Forum. Most recently, Behlendorf was a managing director at Mithril Capital Management LLC, a global technology investment firm.
Stephen Curran
Principal @Cloud Compass Computing Inc.
Stephen Curran of Cloud Compass Computing, Inc. is a Software Development and DevOps veteran who dove full on into what has become the Trust over IP world in 2017. Working with the Government of British Columbia, Stephen has helped define, build and launch a variety of production and proof of concept applications built on verifiable credentials. Stephen is a regular contributor in the Hyperledger Indy and Hyperledger Aries communities, facilitating collaborations and driving interoperability. Stephen is a co-author of edX courses on Hyperledger Indy, Aries and Ursa, a Hyperledger Technical Ambassador and a Trustee of the Sovrin Foundation.
Nathan George
Senior Director of Engineering, Protocol @Kiva
Nathan George is Senior Director of Engineering for the Protocol Team at Kiva Microfunds. At Kiva, Nathan works on enabling protocol-level solutions for data ownership and financial inclusion for the estimated 1.7 million unbanked persons world-wide. Previously, Nathan served as the Chief Technology Officer of the Sovrin Foundation, coordinating the foundation's technology vision to bring verifiable credentials exchange and self-sovereign digital identity for all. Prior to his work with non-profit foundations, Nathan was a Software Architect for Evernym where he worked on the original team that created the Sovrin platform. From June 2006-October 2016, he served as a Software Engineer for data search platform Perfect Search and cybersecurity company Symantec. His development experience spans diverse systems including robotics, GIS, file systems, big data analytics, and attribute-based security systems.
