A Blueprint for Success: Community Health Worker Services in South Dakota Medicaid
During the webinar, a representative from the South Dakota Department of Social Services (DSS) Division of Medical Services will provide an overview of Community Health Worker services in the Medicaid program, detailing services covered and required qualifications for enrollment. DSS will also share technical recommendations of how to create policies and procedures to support enrollment as an approved agency.

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will have:
- An understanding of what Community Health Worker services look like in South Dakota Medicaid
- A list of requirements for enrolling as a Community Health Worker in South Dakota Medicaid
- The information and resources needed to enroll as a South Dakota Medicaid Community Health Worker provider

Samantha Hynes is the Policy Strategy Manager for the Department of Social Services Division of Medical Services. Sam has been with the State of South Dakota since 2013 and with Medical Services since August 2019 supporting preventive health initiatives. Sam has a MPH from Grand Canyon University and a MSW from the University of New England.
