Refugees and Migrants amid the Global Pandemic. Gendered Vulnerabilities in the Middle East.
In the last few weeks, the Coronavirus Covid-19 has created an unprecedented situation with, on one side, serious fears of contamination and, on the other, a great level of uncertainty.
While countries around the world have taken measures to limit the spread of the virus, many vulnerable people, including refugees and internally displaced persons (IDP) who live in camps, remain especially prone to the danger of a severe outbreak. If this happens, it will impact the whole local population. Given historical structural inequalities, women inside these communities remain particularly vulnerable.

This Webinar aims to bring together community leaders, local as well as international organisations officials, women’s activists, doctors and academics to exchange ideas and formulate recommendations integrating the needs and requirements of refugees and internally displaced persons in the camps.
