Developing Language Skills (and the impact from COVID)

Description

This presentation aims to give parents, teachers and caregivers an overview of the speech and language development from 2 to 5 years, including the development of receptive, expressive and pragmatics skills. It will also touch on red flags for speech and language delay and strategies that could be used by parents to support language development. The impact that Covid-19 has on children’s language development and pragmatic skills will also be explored and discussed.
