Featuring Matt Damon, this documentary is the first honest and hopeful documentary that paints an optimistic picture of how humanity is adapting new technologies and innovations to re-think how we manage water as a planet. The event is hosted by the Water Environment Federation (WEF), Nebraska Water Environment Association (NWEA), and the Nebraska Section of the American Water Works Association (NSAWWA). WEF is a proud sponsor of the documentary production. Students and professionals are invited to attend.
A discussion with a panel of local and national water professionals will follow the screening. Panel members include Dr. Eileen O'Neill, Former Executive Director of WEF; Donna Garden, City of Lincoln Transportation and Utilities, Assistant Director of Utilities; Dr. Nick Brozovic, Water for Food Daugherty Global Institute at the University of Nebraska, Director of Policy; and Ron Sova, HDR, Nebraska and Iowa Water Business Group Manager.
