Part of the 2020 Fox Cities Book Festival!
When we read or write fiction, we create parallel worlds. As such, possibility is not only a question of genre or believability on the page, but also one of language: what if?
This is especially true of Latin American fiction, in which the relationship between the past and the future, the real and the unreal is often blurred beyond recognition. Through a short lecture on Latin American literary traditions and a craft discussion on the otherworldly, this presentation will explore these relationships. A Q & A will follow.
The 2020 Fox Cities Book Festival is October 11th - 18th. The 2020 Fox Cities Book Festival is dedicated in memory of our beloved board member and author Christopher "Tuffer" Kunz. Tuffer will never be forgotten.
