The goal of this presentation will be to create a space where program leadership and faculty can identify ways to make their advising processes more aligned, effective and efficient. Often faculty and staff work in parallel to advise students. Academic advising and career services support can often add an extra layer of burden for faculty, students and staff. Presenters will demonstrate how our curriculum facilitates competency attainment, program precision, and career success. Our innovative curriculum and advising model incorporates a unique approach to student onboarding, academic and career advising and integrates CAHME competencies in a way that ties course content to relevant job skills.
