Putting Child and Youth Participation at the Heart of Care Reform

Join us for a special event promoting the new child and youth participation manual for practitioners, working for and with children, managers, advocates for care reform globally. The manual provides a comprehensive overview of how to meaningfully engage children and young people in care reform. It was written by the child and youth participation team at Lumos, building on their extensive experience of child and youth participation, particularly in central and eastern Europe. It also draws on practical examples from Changing the Way We Care’s (CTWWC) work in Kenya and Guatemala. You will have an opportunity to hear from child and youth participation experts, young self-advocates, partners and experts from experience in care reform involved in co-producing this publication.
