Senior Account Manager, New Build @ABB Marine & Ports
At ABB, Mr. Lee serves as a Senior Account Manager of New Builds overseeing and leading all sales initiative for the workboat industry and marine construction. His expanded role includes management of the offshore wind segment, where he is responsible for the segment development throughout North and South America. With a particular focus on implementation of sustainable solutions for offshore construction and support vessels, Mr. Lee continues to educate the market on environmental demands. With the long awaited expansion of offshore wind farms, the need of sustainable vessels are inevitable in United States due to the Jones Act. The vessels needed for offshore construction and support vessels requires unique expertise, and Mr. Lee is specially skilled in all aspects of hybrid and electric system integration. The New Sales team is responsible for executing the business strategy for hybrid and energy storage solutions that promote the reduction of green house gas emissions.

Chris joined Lloyd’s Register (LR) in 2015 working for the Inspection Services group, where he held numerous business development roles, including Global Corporate Account Manager and Area Sales Manager (Americas). In 2020, Chris joined the Marine & Offshore business segment, As the Vice President of Energy Transition & Integration, Chris leads and manages the efforts in the U.S. Market Offshore Wind arena. He also manages the Offshore Sales and Growth Product Specialists teams across the Americas. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Stephane F. Austin State University. Julia Bovey
Director, External Affairs @Equinor Wind US
Julia Bovey directs external affairs for the Equinor Wind US portfolio, including the development of the Empire Wind project off New York, building on a career spent expanding renewable energy policy and projects in leadership roles in advocacy, industry, and federal and state government. Ms. Bovey first worked on offshore wind in 2004, when she left a 15-year career in journalism to join the Conservation Law Foundation in Boston. She was appointed by President Obama to serve at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as Director of the Office of External Affairs, where she worked to gain the political and public support to break down the barriers preventing renewables, energy efficiency, and demand response from fair access to electric markets. Next, she joined First Wind, then a leading independent developer of wind energy projects across the U.S. Ms. Bovey was appointed the first-ever Long Island Director at the New York State Department of Public Service.
