Alisos and Kinomé, with the support of the World Bank's Forest Carbon Partnership Fund and World Bank regional teams, are organizing the Cacao & Forests: Knowledge Exchange Programme. A series of virtual seminars with participants from Ghana, Ivory Coast, Colombia, Peru, Brazil and the Dominican Republic that seeks to connect actors, exchange, learn and discuss the different realities of cocoa producing countries. This initiative promotes and strengthens a global network of sustainable cocoa actors through agroforestry arrangements.
We are about to start a phase of the program in which we seek to bring together actors from the cocoa value chains of the participating countries, as well as organizations, initiatives and interested institutions with the aim of connecting, exchanging and learning about different realities in the production, processing, distribution and commercialization of sustainable cocoa.
The first session of this phase of the Cocoa & Forests Program: Knowledge Exchange Programme will deal with the International Cocoa Context. We will discuss how the international context is moving towards a long-term resilient cocoa value chain in terms of equity, inclusion, climate change and market challenges.
Once you have registered for the event, you will receive a link and eventually, the final agenda for the session.
