Bios:
Jonas Astrup, Chief Technical Advisor, International Labor Organization
Jonas Astrup is a United Nations Official serving as the Chief Technical Advisor for the ILO Third-Party Monitoring Project in Uzbekistan.
Mr Astrup has a private sector background with over 20 years experience in extractives and consumer products. He worked for the textile and garment industry in Bangkok, Anglo American in Johannesburg and the international toy industry in Hong Kong. Mr Astrup started his career working for the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. Mr Astrup is a law school graduate from the University of Copenhagen.
