Taller Técnico para América Latina y el Caribe

El Taller Técnico para América Latina y el Caribe sobre política fiscal verde explorará su rol en la en el diseño de medidas de recuperación del COVID-19 con el objetivo de apoyar los esfuerzos de salud pública, reducir los riesgos ambientales y del cambio climático y fortalecer la resiliencia a crisis futuras incorporando consideraciones socio-económicas inclusivas y sostenibles en la planificación económica nacional. El taller está organizado por la Red de Política Fiscal Verde (Green Fiscal Policy Network) y la CEPAL.

Este taller busca fomentar el diálogo sobre políticas, el aprendizaje entre pares y el intercambio reuniendo a legisladores y expertos de los gobiernos de la región, principalmente de los ministerios de finanzas y medio ambiente, pero también ministerios sectoriales como energía, transporte e industria, con expertos de organizaciones internacionales, think tanks y academia.

The technical workshop for Latin America and the Caribbean on green fiscal policies will explore the role of green fiscal policies in greening a COVID-19 recovery with the aim of supporting public health efforts, reducing environmental and climate change risks, and strengthening resilience to future crises by embedding inclusive and sustainable socio-economic considerations in national economic planning. This regional workshop is organized by UNEP, GIZ and IMF under the auspices of the Green Fiscal Policy Network (GFPN), and UN ECLAC.
This workshop seeks to foster policy dialogue, peer learning and exchange by bringing together policymakers and experts from governments in the region, mainly from ministries of finance and environment, but also sectoral ministries such as energy, transport and industry, with experts from international organizations, think tanks and academia.
