Chaired by Professor Ketan Dhatariya, Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and past-President of the RSM’s Endocrinology and Diabetes section, our guests are Professor Martin Rutter, Professor of Cardiometabolic Medicine at the University of Manchester, Dr Shivani Misra, Consultant in Metabolic Medicine & Diabetes at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and Lucy Chambers, Head of Research Communications at Diabetes UK.
The panel will also discuss recent studies that suggest some patients could be developing diabetes after being infected with Covid-19.
