Nutrition Advice That All Experts Agree: A Starting Point For a Vibrantly Healthy Diet!
Are your patients frustrated with conflicting nutrition information? Do your patients sometimes want to give up even trying to eat healthy? Eggs used to be killing Americans, and now some diet doctors deemed them as a health food. We had an all-out war on fat in this country for 4 or 5 decades, but now it seems that sugar is causing our demise. Did you know that there are actually foods and eating patterns that all the experts agree are healthy for us? Consumers become frustrated with the conflicting information and don't do anything but maintain the Standard American Diet (SAD). However, avoiding the SAD diet is a point where all diet doctors agree. Dr. Painter will discuss points that all health gurus agree on including: green leafy vegetables, berries, cruciferous vegetables, nuts, seeds and allium vegetables are good for us and the SAD diet isn’t. How can the vegan, paleo and keto diets all show that they reduce risk of disease? What if it is the points of agreement that are actually causing the majority of the benefit and not the carb/fat/protein ratio? So, no matter what diet your patients are on, this presentation will give you the tips and tools to focus them on eating these foods daily to encourage their journey to wellness.
