Documentation Training for Emergency Medical Service Personnel
This program provides and overview of key requirements for patient care documentation so as to properly record patient events as well as to ensure that all required information is present to effect a smooth claim submission.

The program averages approximately 60 minutes in length and is recommended for EMTs, Paramedics, QA Personnel and Air Medical flight crews.

Certificates of Program Attendance are issued to all participants which can be submitted to your Office of EMS for CEU consideration. Quick Med Claims makes no guarantees as to whether your state's EMS office will provide credits for attendance at this program.

Gary Harvat

In his role as Director of Client Services, Gary provides oversight to Client Services Team at Quick Med Claims. Client Services works closely with QMC’s partners to ensure that their needs are readily addressed. Gary has over 4 decades in emergency medical services and knows both the operational and financial side of the EMS industry well. Between 1982 and 2010, Gary worked with the West Penn Allegheny Health System, directing multiple departments, including: emergency medical communications, pre-hospital services, air medical (LifeFlight), outreach and patient transport. Gary’s background includes pre-hospital experience beginning in the mid-1970s. Gary was also one of the many contributors to Pennsylvania’s original EMS Act in the 1980s. Over the years, Gary has spoken at regional, statewide and national EMS Conferences on varied topics including priority dispatch procedures and his hospital’s experience with the timely pre-hospital management of STEMI patients.
