Publics@IIHS | City as a classroom: Experiential learning in the urban
Co-organised by IIHS and the Knowledge in Action for Urban Equality (KNOW) project, this panel is the second in the series ‘Dialogues with urban pedagogues | How do we teach, learn and practice urban equality?’, which brings together work on pedagogy for urban equality under the KNOW project.

Focussing on pedagogies of studios and practica in urban education, the panel will bring together reflections from India, Zambia, South Africa, and Peru, highlighting potentials and challenges of experiential learning.

Speakers include Poonam Prakash, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi; Gilbert Siame, University of Zambia (UNZA); heeten bhagat, Freelance Pracademic and Anna Selmeczi, University of Cape Town (UCT); and Belen Desmaison, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). The panel will be moderated by Geetika Anand, IIHS. Sophie Oldfield, Cornell University, will be the panel discussant.
