QPR - 1.5-hour Course.
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying "Yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor. If you can not attend for any reason, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
Each attendee needs a computer or tablet (or a smartphone if no other option) with a webcam/microphone and an individual email address. Participants are required to have their webcam on for the duration of the training to ensure full attendance. Participants cannot have multiple people on one webcam. Attendees must install Zoom or access it via their browser.
The training is provided by The University of Georgia as part of the Southern Ag Exchange Network (SAgE) grant project. SAgE is part of the USDA Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network.
