This World AIDS Day, join Positive Women’s Network-USA for a discussion of what women and transgender people living with HIV need from the national HIV response.
Earlier this year Positive Women’s Network-USA, as part of the U.S. People Living with HIV Caucus, came together to create Demanding Better: An HIV Federal Policy Agenda by People Living with HIV, one of the nation’s most comprehensive federal policy visions and roadmaps for people living with HIV to date.
What has happened since then? What progress have we seen in addressing the rights, safety, and wellness of people living with HIV in the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic Plan?
There’s a lot to celebrate and discuss, but this we know is true: You cannot end the HIV epidemic without us. This is not a demand –it is an absolute imperative.
