DEİK EU Talks: A Conversation with Mr. Esko Aho, Former Prime Minister of Finland “Education, Technology and Innovation at the Dawn of the New Normal Era”
By January 2020, the world has encountered a new era... A challenging phenomenon which required a renewed understanding of collaboration among people, institutions, and countries. A fast relief need for innovation, technology and education... In addition, a ''quick-action urgent'' demand for better, faster yet more cyber secure ways of communication and exchange of information. In other words, a pressing demand emerged to adjust and adapt to the so called ‘ ''New Normal'' to tackle what unfolded as a new threat to global economy and the well being of humankind... Enforcing lockdown measures, requiring businesses to adapt precautionary adjustments, imposing individuals to apply social distancing, even sometimes making imperfect decisions in order not to compromise more for the uncertainties... On the other hand, the ''New Normal’ will perhaps generate a novel ecosystem that will act as a catalyst for esoteric innovative approaches and techniques along with unconventional education models in a post-corona world... Perhaps a quantum leap accelerator for the well being of the humankind and creating a a long needed 'fresh breath' for Nature - resulting in the ultimate Nature - Human connectedness and harmony.
Mr. ESKO AHO, Former Prime Minister of Finland. will be addressing this transition to the ''New Normal Era” via his wealth of experience and visionary approach in education, technology and innovation.
