ChangeNugget Session #2: The New Missing Basics of Professional Practice

Busy professionals today have short bursts of time and energy available for dipping into new subjects, and so I’ve come up with a concept of very short bursts of actionable learning in the form of ChangeNugget Webinars. Over the coming year, we plan to offer a live online experience in 15-20 minute chunks in which we explore the key shifts for change mastery.

The second ChangeNugget session focuses on "The New Missing Basics of Professional Practice.” Yogi Berra once famously said, “In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.” Unfortunately the education of professionals (actually, higher education generally) assumes that practice is merely the application of theory. In this ChangeNugget we examine what’s wrong with this assumption and talk about what’s missing in the form of 5+1 practical shifts.
