EMN March webinar will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Kyo Bin Kang, and Huong T. Pham, PhD candidate, from Sookmyung Women’s University, Seoul Korea. Kyo Bin Kang is an Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Sookmyung Women’s University. His lab is trying to answer various questions on specialized metabolites (a.k.a. natural products) using cutting-edge computational mass spectrometry tools. He received his BS in Pharmacy from Seoul National University in 2010 and then earned his PhD degree in natural product chemistry from Seoul National University under the supervision of the late Prof. Sang Hyun Sung in 2016. After postdoctoral work at UC San Diego under the supervision of Prof. Pieter C. Dorrestein, he founded his own lab in 2018.
