BOCC Meeting - January 5, 2023
Live public comments, either In-Person or Virtual, for the Board of County Commissioners meeting will be accepted for those who have preregistered via this form by noon (12:00 p.m.) on the Wednesday before the Thursday meeting. Individuals wishing to speak in-Person, may also sign up In-Person by Thursday 9:20 AM. prior to the meeting
The BOCC Chairman may modify the number of speakers, time limit for each speaker, or other procedures as needed to conduct an orderly and efficient meeting. Please complete the registration form below and click on “Register.” After completing the registration, you will receive an email notice on Wednesday afternoon regarding the status of your registration. Instructions on joining and speaking will be included in the email notice. If speakers are determined by a random process, you will be notified if you are not on the list to speak. For Virtual public speakers, the meeting will open at 9:25 AM. The PUBLIC COMMENT period provides citizens a forum to address the Board of County Commissioners on matters that pertain to or involve the Johnson County Government, but which do not appear on the printed agenda. Speakers are encouraged to be professional, concise, courteous, and respectful. Comments should be addressed to the Board of County Commissioners as a whole. Speakers are encouraged to not make personal attacks. Speakers should refrain from obscene, profane, slanderous, insulting or threatening remarks. Speakers should avoid repeating prior speakers. Due to the use of County equipment, funds, and supplies, political campaigning and commercial advertisements are not allowed. Violations are subject to audio streaming interruptions.
For in-person speakers, please arrive at the 3rd floor atrium at 111 S. Cherry Street, Olathe by 9:30AM
