No single agency or professional has a complete picture of the life of an individual or family living with domestic abuse but many will have insights that are crucial to their safety. All agencies that are involved with a case have a responsibility to consider their own organisation’s response and how they work in partnership with others in that community. To effectively meet needs, including reducing the risks of further harm, a coordinated community response is necessary.
