Gospel Values in Community Mental Health Programs
If registration becomes full you can watch the webinar live over Facebook Live on the CCIH page: https://www.facebook.com/CCIntlhealth/

COVID-19 has affected nearly every aspect of our work, family and personal lives, raising anxiety for everyone, including those already facing mental health challenges. We'll address this in our webinar on mental health on March 25.

Please note: We are happy this topic resonates with so many of you. We have had a higher than normal number of registrants. If the webinar becomes full and you get a message that you cannot register, please know that it will be streamed live on CCIH's Facebook page, and you can interact live on Facebook.

Mental illness can be a highly stigmatized topic in the church, yet mental health is an integral component of overall health and well-being. Join us as we discuss:

-The importance of faith and spirituality in understanding mental health and seeking help;
-How gospel values of asking and listening (what is it you want of me); social inclusion (paying attention to the small voices); wholeness (body, mind and spirit), and life to the fullest, can be threaded through program design in community mental health programs (with examples from EHA’s programs).
-Examples of good and bad practices in this area and the resulting benefits and harms;
-How this element of practice can fit into broader global mental health and development practices.
