Enabling a Green Recovery through Emissions Trading

Economic activity around the globe has been severely impacted as a result of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Emissions trading is a policy option that can support a green recovery by generating revenue for investment and innovation, shifting private sector investment towards lower-carbon technologies and infrastructure, and accelerating the emergence of a market for low-carbon products.
