Webinar 3 - Wednesday 16th February 2022
We are excited to offer these live workshops for primary students in partnership with the Yeats society of Ireland. The online world allows this unique opportunity to allow your class to explore the life and work of our national poet tailored for you by a true expert in the field.
You may opt to tune in for any of or all of the workshops to illuminate the work and life of WB Yeats. These workshops will also bring to life other areas of the Arts and SESE curriculum touching on Irish myths and legends, the beauty and landscape of Sligo and the artistic works of the Yeats family. These workshops will also shine a light on the important Irish history of Yeat's time.
The workshops are presented by the renowned Susan O'Keeffe, a journalist by profession and former senator. Susan has been Director at the Yeats society of Ireland since 2017. She is passionate about sharing the life of Ireland’s national poet and his talented and interesting family. The aim of the Yeats society is to create a cultural hearth for all who are interested in the life and work of WB Yeats and Irish literature and culture.
