Abstract: For this webinar, I will consider theories of the social determinants of health and approaches to prevent or reduce socio-economic inequalities in obesity. I will then discuss the results of my systematic reviews exploring the effects of public health interventions on socioeconomic inequalities in obesity in children and adults. Finally, I will outline other work including differential intervention effects on obesity-related behaviours.
